❌ Back to the data - What’s Not Working (Bad Data Is Breaking Your Pipeline)
From the 6,206 analyzed conversations:
9.67% = Wrong Contact
5.93% = Bad Number
4.29% = No Longer With Company
📉 That’s 1 in 5 live connects instantly wasted — that reps earned — gone before the pitch even starts.
No amount of scripting, coaching, or tech stack wizardry saves a list that’s 20% DOA. Every bad number is a budget leak. Every wrong contact is a morale killer. And every ghosted “good fit, not now” that gets removed from the sequence is a future demo lost.
📈 What’s Working
👥 Common Traits Among Top Reps:
Lower dial counts, higher conversion efficiency
Stronger follow-up game and utilizing the Nurture AI feature of Salesfinity
2–3 call attempts post-connect before disqualification
Using "call back later" and "reach out in 6 months" as active signals — not exits
💰 Money Is in the Follow-Ups
You’ve heard it. But the data proves it (again).
Among reps with >10% meeting rate:
72% of their meetings came after the first conversation.
Most used multi-path follow-ups: call again, drop a custom voicemail, send tailored email, re-add to cadence.
And here's the kicker...
"Good fit, not now" prospects?
Only 12% were re-sequenced.
That means 88% of your future pipeline is being deleted after a single polite decline.
🛑 Stop the auto-remove. Recycle intelligently. Add logic trees like:
“Call back next quarter”
“Warm but early-stage”
“Needs a referral trigger”
⚡ Quick Tip: Tuesday Is the New Thursday
Top Connect Days:
Tuesday — 32.58%
Wednesday — 20.19%
Thursday — 18.6%
👀 Monday and Friday are basically warm-up and shutdown. Stack high-intent blocks early in the week.
✅ Action Step for SDR Managers
Audit your data pipeline this week.
Pull 50 leads marked “Wrong Contact”
Enrich with phone + title validation
Calculate how many could have been fixed with enrichment
Then, build a “Recycle” step into your SEP before disqualification.
📅 Test it for 7 days → Measure revival meetings booked.
🧠 Quote of the Week
"Reps don’t burn out from rejection. They burn out from wasted effort."
Let’s give them a list worth dialing.
